This September fashion week was go-go-go with shows, meetings and lots of trendspotting which we are getting into now! So if you are here for the fashion, this post is for you!
This trend actually made an appearance at a few of the shows I attended, but my favorites were by KavenLiu DIMOR presented at the NOLCHA shows. Each piece just matched seamlessly and was both stylish and age-appropriate for child and mom which I love! – Usually one looks off. Amazing job on this entire collection! So another trend I picked up on was bright colors and flowy dresses. Most were also accompanied with statement sleeves. For materials, there were silks, chiffons, organzas, and tulles.
Designers featured:
Willfredo Gerardo, Vitruvius, Host & Var
Dustofgods was one of the coolest shows I have seen. Their jumpsuit/coveralls are so unique and the entire concept of the brand grabs my attention. Each piece is a work of art featuring luxury brand logos, celebrities, etc. Click the images below to get a good look. I got a real post-apocalyptic tribal vibe from this collection which featured hues of red, olive greens, tan and white.
Mikage Shin also featured modern shapes and neutral shades in a borrowed from the boys inspired collection which caught my eye.

Planet Zero Motosports is a leatherwear brand with moto style. With mesh, studs and pleats the detail on each piece is so incredible and might I add that the accessories each outfit was styled with were fire!!
Another with some amazingly unique pieces was Vitruvius, which is a Canada based educational entity that spotlighted a group of young designers whose goal was to covert a wild idea into ready-to-wear. Check out a few pieces in the vid below.
