I am a sucker for clothing with embroidery so when I spotted this piece on the Boohoo website I made no exception and had to get it! The fit is so adorable with the pleated shoulder accents give it a unique touch.
So for this look I wanted to tie in color so that the embroidery would really pop. To do so, I added a bright orange scarf to my hair and wore my current favorite bold earrings from Sugarfix! And to complete the ensemble I paired everything with mywhite ankle boots. These actually ended up an excellent choice for the climate, as we were in New Mexico.
Hair accessories are super “in” right now so I have gone ahead and linked a couple of extra options here for you guys to check out. I really enjoyed wearing the orange bandana. It was such a simple accessory to add to my look but make such a huge impact!
Top: Gordman’s | Shorts: Old Navy | Bag: Amazon | Jewelry: OSOS New York & Luca Love
Hey beauties! Hope you are all having an amazing week. What is your favorite trend right now? I am currently obsessed with statement sleeves! I have always been a 3/4 length sleeve fan so now all of the ruffles, embellishments, and tiers are the icing on the cake for me! Seriously, statement sleeves has got to be one of my favorite trends ever!
So this look is super casual and perfect for the warmer temps! I found this lightweight striped top at Gordman’s for only $10.99. I love how it looks with white shorts and capris! The two together create such a clean and crisp ensemble. For accessories, I went with oversized sunnies, this amazing bamboo clutch I found on Amazon, and 3 Luca Love pieces! – 2 bracelets and an anklet. If you haven’t heard of Luca Love, definitely check them out. They have an amazing mission and your purchase goes to a wonderful cause.
Dress: Gordman’s | Shoes: Vionic Maris | Purse: Coach Dinky | Makeup: Urban Decay Backtalk
Happy April 1st, and Easter to you all! Today I’m sharing this adorable dress with you all that I found at my local Gordmans which just opened in Rosenberg, Texas! It was only $12.99, believe it or not! The mauve color compliments fair skintones so well and the floral print is lovely. I especially like the off-the-shoulder design of this dress with the flounce layer. This dress is super flattering, and perfect for day, and even night outings. I have paired it with my fave spring wedges from Vionic, and my makeup look is brought to you by Urban Decay! The Backtalk palette is a must-have for spring as it is packed with lovely shadows and blushes in pinks, and nudes to give you a natural, rosy glow! I am also wearing an Urban Decay Vice lipstick in the shade Backtalk.
Makeup colors to create this look:
I am wearing one blush shade and 3 shadows from the Backtalk palette to create this look.
Eyes: Crease – 180 Lid – Curve Corner – 3Sheets
Lips: Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Backtalk
Hey there! Just wanted to share 2 quick spring looks featuring a neutral palette with a pop of print! First up is this overall dress in a gingham print! This piece is only 10$ at Shein, and is such a steal! It’s perfect for spring and looks great with a plain t-shirt, or with a flutter sleeved blouse which is how I have paired it here!
The second look I have styled is with a lightweight maxi dress from Calvin Klein! This dress is so breezy and perfect for the weekend!
I styled both ensembles with the same accessories to show how reusable these pieces are, yet how they can complete so many looks! First is this super luxe and roomy satchel from Vera Bradley. The clean neutral shade makes it the perfect accessory to add to any spring look, and the size is optimal to carry any and all necessities. For shoes I am wearing these comfy tie up espadrille wedges from Vionic. They have an amazing insole and are made with such quality! Again the neutral shade makes these the perfect base to add to any ensemble, and the shoes are perfect to carry you anywhere the day takes you.
You and easily shop these two looks with Liketoknow.it and stay up to date with all of the looks I style and sales I find!!
I seriously do not feel I have a specific style genre I wear all of the time, I think I hop around and try different styles pretty often and one of the easiest colors to try a new style in would be grey or black so here I am going to share with you two looks I wore recently that were super girly and the other is more of a punk glam look. Enjoy!
So I have been receiving so many questions and compliments on this dress over the past month, yes it is a dress not a skirt and top. This layered-look is so adorable with a ¾ length sleeve knit top half and attached tulle skirt. I decided to create an all grey look with faux suede heels, sparkling burst earrings and a shimmering silver clutch. This is such a fun evening look and sort of made me feel like a fairy godmother – lol
So this look is one of my FAVORITES! I am wearing a Ramones graphic print T-shirt dress, faux suede OTK boots, and a knee length cape. But the real finishing touch to this look is the dark lip. Something about wearing a dark lip to your look adds such edge! With the black palette and over-the-top cape this look is so cool and even dressy!
So as you can see it’s easy to rock any look you put your mind to, and it’s easy to try out new trends and styles when starting with a neutral black or grey palette.
For NY street style I went with red, black and white this season. These two looks were my favorite for comfort and style and the pieces are seriously so transitional! You can create so many looks with these staple pieces!
Look 1 is white leather booties, ripped jeans in a light wash, and a bright red sweater. For accessories I added tights, a knit beret, red lipstick, and a leopard skinny belt. These pieces combine to make a fierce look ready to take on the city.
Look 2 is a completely black and white look constructed of this off the shoulder sweater, fleece lined faux leather pants, black and white booties from ASOS, a faux croco bag, and knit beret. The mix of textures and the contrast of black and white make this look really pop!
For the 4th day of NYFW I attended the Ennyluap show, the Nolcha 4pm showcase and the Negris Lebrum show. With a full day ahead, I wanted a fab look that would transition me from morning to night as there wouldn’t be a break for me to change looks.
I chose fleece lined faux leather pants, a crest printed button front top, double breasted peacoat, faux fur wrap, and red sock booties. The color accents I was going for was red and dark green. These colors were brought out with my handbag, lipstick, shawl and sock booties.
I think out of all of my looks for fashion week, this was by far my favorite! I was able to stay warm in the elements without a lot of added bulk and the mix of textures just looks so chic!
A very special thank you to THB Marketing House and The Riviere Agency for my Sunday NYFW schedule! I’ll be posting a recap of the shows I attended soon, so stay tuned! <3
Finding a beautiful dress for an evening out can be stressful and pricey. I for one dread spending hundreds on a dress that will only be worn once or twice, and will spend the majority of its life just hanging in my closet. Luckily there is Tobi! This online store offers affordable current trend apparel, even full length dresses, perfect for your next event!
This layered chiffon dress offers a Grecian vibe, perfect for late winter/spring. I paired it with velvet blush heels, a matching Bordeaux clutch from Coach and the absolute perfect lip color by Christian Louboutin.
This dress is originally $76 dollars but currently is on sale for under $40! You seriously cannot beat the price or quality of this lovely piece.
Another one of my NYFW picks was this colorfully casual mini skirt and chunky sweater combo!
I wore this ensemble out to dinner, and loved how easy and comfortable it was to walk in these heeled booties, and the chunky sweater was flattering and perfect to hide a tummy full of NYC pizza! haha
This embroidered mini skirt was actually a Zara find! I was able to purchase it on sale for less than 20 dollars – I know, such a steal!! Since I love it so much, I was able to find ya’ll a similar version and have linked it here. My off the shoulder sweater is from Tobi and is in a warm olive shade, but they also offer it in a few other colors. Right now it is just over $30 so I recommend picking one up while its on promo! The sweater is constructed of a heavy knit, perfect for winter and offers a relaxed fit. I tucked the front of it into my skirt to bring a bit more shape to the look.
For accessories I went with white Steve Madden Editor booties, floral earrings from Sugarfix, and clutch from Sam Edelman.
For a fun day out in NYC; eating at some of the funnest dessert places like Rice to Riches, and Beard Papas along with walking the Brooklyn Bridge I wanted to wear a classic black and white ensemble with a touch of edge – it was Fashion Week after all! So this is the OOTD I came up with.
This white cozy sweater and chunky heeled boots are both from Express. I scored them during a 50% off sale and absolutely love both of these purchases. My skirt is from Tobi and is made of a faux suede material and features a snap front with brass tone stud accents. Tobi runs special promos all of the time so be sure to check out their site for some amazing deals! For an added touch of texture, I decided to wear black pantyhose with black fishnets over top. This creates such a unique look! For accessories, I have my favorite black sunnies, a knit beret, these super fun black and white floral drop earrings, and for a pop of color this beautiful tassel clutch from Stella and Dot.
