Weekend Ready with Forever 21

I am so excited high-waist shorts are becoming more and more available because they are just so comfortable and cute to wear! These in particular are cloth material in a neutral striped pattern. I love the paper bag waist with tie sash and wide leg openings – when shorts fit more relaxed, they look more flattering!

For this fun, sunny day look, I paired these Forever 21 shorts with a vintage button down chambray oxford shirt that was my grandmothers, (similar linked) these super comfortable lace up wedges from Vionic, and my favorite summer bamboo clutch! This look is perfect for weekends and brunch! I just love how light and airy this look is and chambray looks amazing with stripes! For final accessories, I am wearing these lightweight mother-of-pearl style earrings from OSOS and my faux tortoise Quay sunnies!

Crisp Whites & Denim Blues

Summer is right around the corner and nothing beats a crisp white button down look on a beautiful day! This one in particular is giving me all the vibes!! I love the extended layer hem and smart collar detailing! The top provides light stretch so it’s perfectly feminine, and will fit like a glove.

I decided to pair this look with ruffle hem cropped jeans in a classic denim shade of blue. I just love how classic denim looks with white, it makes it pop! For accessories I am wearing wedge espadrilles, these gorgeous turquoise hoop tassel earrings, and carrying my favorite summer bamboo bag!

If you are looking for these accessories, the earrings are from Sugarfix by Baublebar, which is exclusively sold at Target! Best of all, these are only 12.99! The quality is amazing and the weight of the earring is not too heavy which I really appreciate. For the bag I am carrying, this is a dupe for a very expensive bag. I purchased mine from Amazon for just over $40 so if you are interested this bag, but want it at a quarter of the price of the original version, check out Amazon! And the wedge espadrilles are from last year but I still love them and they are perfect for summer so I have linked similar for you to shop!

Black & White Striped Beach Look

As the weather here starts to warm up, I’ve got my thoughts the beachside, and with that I bring you this striped jumpsuit ensemble! This beach inspired look is so easy to wear, is super transitional, and unbelievably comfortable.

This striped chiffon jumpsuit is very lightweight and looks so crisp on. It is partially lined to the thigh so you have modest coverage while still maintaining an airy look. I paired this one piece with a straw fedora, slides, and my summer staple bamboo bag! Now I’m sure you couldn’t miss my earrings! Yes, those statement makers are GORGEOUS and under $15! They are actually from Target, so the next time you are there make sure to grab a pair!

Now if the weather is a little unpredictable, or you want to wear this look and it isn’t quite warm enough yet, you can always style it with your favorite denim jacket and that would perfectly compliment this ensemble!

Futuristic Fashion Sense

Hey Y’all! Hope your week is going well! As you may have discovered by now, I like to experiment with my fashion and try out new things so here are 2 looks I put together (before I dyed my hair) and am just now getting around to sharing with you all! So let’s start things off with this fun, sparkling, futuristic look brought to you by Shein, Lala Shoes and Covergirl!

This layered dress is super cute with the mock neckline and long sleeves, but for someone over 5’6” (I’m 5’8”) it’s a bit short, but I still wanted to create an awesome look with is so I decided to pair it with these super fun metallic glam take on combat boots from Lala Shoes which tie into the shine of the dress perfectly! The boots are surprisingly comfortable and really easy to wear!

So I also wanted to create a more wearable look featuring the same color scheme and came up with this violet crushed velvet top and studded snap front skirt! It’s super cute with a bit of edge and a ton of texture!

Now lastly for the lips I am wearing the new Covergirl Melting Pout in Ballerina and have the sparkling gloss layered over top to bring my entire ensemble together!

Let me know what you think of this look, I know it’s a little different than my normal posts but as I said I’m not afraid to be a bit adventurous with my style and share new trends with you guys!

Floral Embroidered Dress with a Bright Bandana

I am a sucker for clothing with embroidery so when I spotted this piece on the Boohoo website I made no exception and had to get it! The fit is so adorable with the pleated shoulder accents give it a unique touch.

So for this look I wanted to tie in color so that the embroidery would really pop. To do so, I added a bright orange scarf to my hair and wore my current favorite bold earrings from Sugarfix! And to complete the ensemble I paired everything with mywhite ankle boots. These actually ended up an excellent choice for the climate, as we were in New Mexico.

Hair accessories are super “in” right now so I have gone ahead and linked a couple of extra options here for you guys to check out. I really enjoyed wearing the orange bandana. It was such a simple accessory to add to my look but make such a huge impact!

Seeing Stripes & Statement Sleeves

Top: Gordman’s | Shorts: Old Navy | Bag: Amazon | Jewelry: OSOS New YorkLuca Love

Hey beauties! Hope you are all having an amazing week. What is your favorite trend right now? I am currently obsessed with statement sleeves! I have always been a 3/4 length sleeve fan so now all of the ruffles, embellishments, and tiers are the icing on the cake for me! Seriously, statement sleeves has got to be one of my favorite trends ever!

So this look is super casual and perfect for the warmer temps! I found this lightweight striped top at Gordman’s for only $10.99. I love how it looks with white shorts and capris! The two together create such a clean and crisp ensemble. For accessories, I went with oversized sunnies, this amazing bamboo clutch I found on Amazon, and 3 Luca Love pieces! – 2 bracelets and an anklet. If you haven’t heard of Luca Love, definitely check them out. They have an amazing mission and your purchase goes to a wonderful cause.

Spring Neutrals

Hey there! Just wanted to share 2 quick spring looks featuring a neutral palette with a pop of print! First up is this overall dress in a gingham print! This piece is only 10$ at Shein, and is such a steal! It’s perfect for spring and looks great with a plain t-shirt, or with a flutter sleeved blouse which is how I have paired it here!

The second look I have styled is with a lightweight maxi dress from Calvin Klein! This dress is so breezy and perfect for the weekend!

I styled both ensembles with the same accessories to show how reusable these pieces are, yet how they can complete so many looks! First is this super luxe and roomy satchel from Vera Bradley. The clean neutral shade makes it the perfect accessory to add to any spring look, and the size is optimal to carry any and all necessities. For shoes I am wearing these comfy tie up espadrille wedges from Vionic. They have an amazing insole and are made with such quality! Again the neutral shade makes these the perfect base to add to any ensemble, and the shoes are perfect to carry you anywhere the day takes you.

You and easily shop these two looks with Liketoknow.it and stay up to date with all of the looks I style and sales I find!!

OOTD Flirty Girly to Punk Glam

I seriously do not feel I have a specific style genre I wear all of the time, I think I hop around and try different styles pretty often and one of the easiest colors to try a new style in would be grey or black so here I am going to share with you two looks I wore recently that were super girly and the other is more of a punk glam look. Enjoy!

Flirty and Girly

So I have been receiving so many questions and compliments on this dress over the past month, yes it is a dress not a skirt and top. This layered-look is so adorable with a ¾ length sleeve knit top half and attached tulle skirt. I decided to create an all grey look with faux suede heels, sparkling burst earrings and a shimmering silver clutch. This is such a fun evening look and sort of made me feel like a fairy godmother – lol

Punk Glam

So this look is one of my FAVORITES! I am wearing a Ramones graphic print T-shirt dress, faux suede OTK boots, and a knee length cape. But the real finishing touch to this look is the dark lip. Something about wearing a dark lip to your look adds such edge! With the black palette and over-the-top cape this look is so cool and even dressy!

So as you can see it’s easy to rock any look you put your mind to, and it’s easy to try out new trends and styles when starting with a neutral black or grey palette.

NYFW Streetwear Style

For NY street style I went with red, black and white this season. These two looks were my favorite for comfort and style and the pieces are seriously so transitional! You can create so many looks with these staple pieces!

Look 1 is white leather booties, ripped jeans in a light wash, and a bright red sweater. For accessories I added tights, a knit beret, red lipstick, and a leopard skinny belt. These pieces combine to make a fierce look ready to take on the city.

Look 2 is a completely black and white look constructed of this off the shoulder sweater, fleece lined faux leather pants, black and white booties from ASOS, a faux croco bag, and knit beret. The mix of textures and the contrast of black and white make this look really pop!
