Chicwish Brand Review

For the past few years, Chicwish has been my go-to online source for events and everyday looks so I decided why not dedicate a post to sharing my thoughts on the brand with you all! DisCLAIMER: Chicwish does send me items to style but this is in no way sponsored, and all opinions are my own.

Why Chicwish?

I have loved the brand since the first time I spotted one of my favorite Houston Influencers in one of their tulle skirts. I quickly fell in love with Chicwishs‘ style, aesthetic, and product line. These chic styles and timeless silhouettes have since been so easy to identify and have become an all-time favorite of mine. With quality-made pieces in fun fabrics and prints designed with the most flattering cuts with you in mind, here I break down a bit of the Chicwish shopping experience.

Pricepoint

Chicwish falls in between H&M and Zara. It’s better quality than H&M and a bit less in price than Zara but quite similar quality. I get the impression some might think Chicwish is another Shein, and then are shocked at the prices, but Chicwish should not be confused for Shein. The quality in stitching and material are substantially better, the fit is more precise and the clothing selection is more of a curated collection rather than fast fashion. For what you get, I feel the pricing is fair, plus they usually have a coupon running so there is the chance for a discount as well, which is always nice!

Selection

Chicwish offers a curated collection of pieces. I feel they have a certain aesthetic to their assortment, which I love. This is what draws in their customer and keeps them coming back. Their products are very identifiable for their tulle, vintage-style skirts, beautiful flowing dresses, and quality chunky sweaters. The colors offered are rich jewel tones to pastels and neutrals, everything gives off an expensive air but is affordable, which is my favorite type of style! Now with saying all of this, the brand doesn’t just offer frills, there are a few rompers, shorts, fitted dresses, and workout pieces for those who aren’t into tulle and bows.

Quality

The quality is there. Of all of the pieces I have from Chicwish by far the skirts and sweaters are of the utmost quality. Everything is well made, but the skirts and sweaters are exceptional in my opinion and are well worth their price point. The fit is always as expected and the stitching and material, always top-notch.

Ship Time

This gets a little tricky as some pieces can arrive super fast and others can take a while. I think this isn’t really an issue, it’s more that the world of Amazon two-day exists so we are used to getting things extremely quickly. The bright side to this is Chicwish also offers a small selection of their pieces on Amazon and has them Prime, so if you do need something quick from them, it is possible.

Site Navigation & Imagery

Personally, I prefer shopping Chicwish via Pinterest and Instagram to see the pieces styled by influencers. The website shows each piece on a bustform and isn’t very accurate to how the piece will actually lay on the body. Most pieces do have a model alternate shot as well which helps, but like most models, it’s not the “average” body type. If you like a more realistic styling and body type approach to your shopping, I highly suggest checking out these alternative options they have. It’s truly great to have those outlets and they do such a great job at showcasing their pieces on both channels.

Stock Levels

Chicwish only has a limited amount in most pieces, and some things are on pre-order. This is something to look out for if you need something timely, or are pondering over your purchase. If you wait, it more than likely will sell out, and if something is pre-order it can take quite a while to receive your item -so these two situations can be a little frustrating when shopping; but aren’t a deal-breaker just something to take into account.

Overall Thoughts

Overall I love Chicwish and have been shopping with them for years. The refreshed prints and beautiful silhouettes keep me coming back, along with the amazing quality and well; their adorable sweaters! I always get the most compliments on my Chicwish pieces because they not only look amazing, but I always feel amazing in them as well.
