Military Flare with an Updated Twist

I am in love with all of the military inspired outerwear I have seen on the racks this season! The structure and metallic buttons has always been one of my favorites to wear, so when I came across this XOXO beauty, I knew I had to purchase it! The color and buttons all scream military refinement but the peplum hem adds a touch of flirty feminine fun!

The lightweight material on this piece makes this jacket the perfect fall layering piece for living in the south – as it hasn’t dropped below 80 degrees here yet! And I love how tailored it is, so it is an excellent piece to wear even to the office.

I have paired it with a fall floral chiffon cold-shoulder top and my signature Jessica Simpson Kiss Me Skinny Jeans. The dark wash is perfect for dressing this look up. If you are wanting to make it casual, pair with distressed or light wash denim instead.
